As you grow your owned media library, you may find that your Studio organization may need a bit of curating. Deleting media should always be a measure of last resort, especially if it's content that's already been delivered or approved, but sometimes it has to be done.
Whether it's a case of uploading duplicate footage, removing something non-compliant, or a simple matter of cleaning up your feed a little, here's how you can easily delete media from your feed.
First, you'll need to make sure that you have Admin privileges in the instance of Studio you're looking to delete content from. If you are just a Standard user, you won't be able to delete footage, even if it's something as obvious as a duplicate video. You'll need to contact your Studio admin or Digital Media Strategist.
If you are an Admin, simply click on the three dots to the top right of the video you'd like to delete, and click delete.
Warning: deleting a video deletes all the comments, feedback, and other engagement associated with the video. It also deletes previous versions of the video that were overwritten by that video. Before deleting a video, always make sure that you have access to its previous versions.
